Person: Rayleigh), John William Strutt (Lord

Lord Raleigh (John Strutt) was an English scientist who worked on the theory of waves. He became the Cavendish Professor of Physics at Cambridge and was awarded the Nobel prize for the discovery of the gas Argon.
