Udita Narayana Singh was an Indian mathematician who worked in Fourier series and became vice-chancellor of Allahabad University

- After the award of his D.Phil., Singh went to France were he studied at the Sorbonne advised by Szolem Mandelbrojt.
- Singh spent one academic year (1963-64) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
- In 1969, U N Singh was invited to join the University of Delhi as Professor of Pure Mathematics and he was pleased to accept.
Born 19 November 1920, Benares (now Varanasi) India. Died 9 April 1989, Delhi, India.
