Proposition: Integral of the Exponential Function
Let $a,b\in\mathbb R$. The Riemann integral of exponential function in the closed interval $[a,b]$ equals
$$\int_a^b \exp(x)dx = \exp(x)\;\begin{array}{|l}a\\\\b\end{array}.$$
