Definition: Measurable Space

A measurable space \((M,\mathcal{A},\mu)\) is a triple consisting of:

• an underlying set \(M\),
• a \(\sigma\)-algebra \(\mathcal{A}\) defined on it and
• a measure \(\mu\).
