Definition: Concatenation of Languages
Let $L_1, L_2$ be languages over some alphabets. The concatenation "$\cdot$" of the languages $L_1, L_2$ is a language defined as $$L_1L_2=L_1\cdot L_2:=\{uw\mid u\in L_1, w\in L_2\}.$$
