The subgroups of the additive group $(\mathbb Z, +)$ are exactly the groups $(S_n, +)$ of the form $S_n=n\mathbb Z:=\{nx\mid x\in\mathbb Z\}$ for all natural numbers $n\in\mathbb N.$
